Albanika Press is an independent literary publisher devoted to bringing Albanian literature into English through thoughtful, high-quality translation. Founded in the United States, the press publishes works that illuminate Albania’s cultural, historical, and moral landscapes, with a focus on writers whose voices deserve wider international recognition.

Founder's Note
Albanika Press was founded out of a conviction that Albanian literature deserves a fuller place in the English-speaking world. Despite its richness and complexity, much of this tradition remains inaccessible beyond its original language—not because of lack of merit, but because of lack of translation.
As a translator and editor, I see this work as a form of stewardship. Each book represents a commitment to accuracy, care, and respect—for the author, for the reader, and for the historical record. Albanika Press is intentionally small and focused, allowing each project the attention it deserves.
